The creators of the remake of Demon’s Souls make fun of players trying to solve the mystery of the locked door

Studio Bluepoint Games in their microblog ironically commented on the so far unsuccessful attempts of players to solve the mystery of the locked door in the remake of Demon’s Souls for PlayStation 5.

We will remind them, shortly after the release of the remake, they found a locked door hidden behind an illusory wall. On the terrace behind it, as it turned out, it is not so easy to get there – from all sides, the site is surrounded by a large invisible box.

Thus, no one has yet made it to the cherished terrace – the players have not yet found a way to open the mysterious door. Bluepoint Games decided to mock this fact.

The joke is framed in the form of a greeting card with the image of an unattainable object on the terrace and the message “It’s a pity you’re not here!” to several bloggers and streamers including VaatiVidya and Distortion2.

It is noteworthy that Bluepoint Games accompanied its publication with the signature ( “Symphony of rumors …” ), which is a direct quote from the studio’s tweet a year ago.

Bluepoint Games posted that message on Halloween. It was assumed that in this way the team tried to hint at the game in development – a remake of Demon’s Souls was confirmed only in June 2020.

The updated version of Demon’s Souls was released on November 12 exclusively on PlayStation 5. Journalists rated the remake better than the original game – 92% versus 89% for the 2010 version (European release).
