The creators of the remaster of Total War: Rome have lowered system requirements
Sega publishers, together with development studios Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive, have presented updated system requirements for Total War: Rome Remastered on the official website of the Total War series .
Recall that the initial “appetites” of the remaster of Total War: Rome were noticed on the game’s Steam page back in mid-April, however, as it turned out, then it was not about the final specifications.
In particular, the developers have reduced the requirements of Total War: Rome Remastered to the processor, video card (the recommended configuration was NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB) and free hard disk space – from 70 to 45 GB.
The minimum allowed configuration will allow you to play on low graphics settings at 1080p (with 66% resolution scaling) at 30 frames / s and possible drawdowns in especially large-scale battles:
- OS: Windows 10 (64 bit, version 1809);
- processor: Intel Core i3 or AMD FX-4000 series;
- RAM: 6 GB (8 GB for PCs with integrated video cards);
- graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 600 series (1 GB), AMD HD 7000 (1 GB) or Intel UHD 620;
- DirectX version: 11;
- disk space: 45 GB.
The recommended build will provide players with 60fps in full 1080p resolution and with high graphics settings. However, even with this configuration, performance drops are possible.
- OS: Windows 10 (64 bit, version 20H2);
- processor: Intel Core i5-4570 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600;
- RAM: 8 GB;
- video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (4 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4 GB);
- DirectX version: 11;
- disk space: 45 GB (75 GB if you install the Enhanced Graphics kit).Earlier it was reported that compared to the original Total War: Rome, the remaster will offer updated graphics and optimizations, support for 4K and ultra-wide monitors, as well as a number of improvements that increase the ease of the passage.
Total War: Rome Remastered will go on sale tomorrow, April 29th, exclusively for PC (Steam). The cost of the re-release in the Valve service is 1,725 rubles , but the owners of the original game are entitled to a 50 percent discount.
