The crisis does not care: iPhone 11 became the best-selling smartphone in the first half of 2020

Despite the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Apple is showing excellent sales figures. Analysts from Media published data according to which the iPhone 11 became the best-selling smartphone in the first half of this year. Apple sold 37.7 million units of the device, up 10 million from the iPhone XR last year.

The second place in the ranking was taken by the Samsung Galaxy A51, sold in the amount of 11.4 million units. Unlike last year, when four devices in the top ten were released by Samsung, this year only one model of the South Korean company got into the list of ten best-selling smartphones. All other places were shared by Xiaomi smartphones, which took the third, fourth, eighth, and ninth lines of the rating, as well as Apple devices.

Despite the fact that the iPhone SE was only released in April, Apple managed to ship about ten million units of this smartphone. In addition, the ranking included the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, which were sold in the amount of 6.7 and 7.7 million, respectively.
