B100 and then X100 are waiting for us
Nvidia shared a roadmap for its data center and AI acceleration products in an investor presentation.
Let us remind you that at the moment the senior solution within the Hooper line is the H100 accelerator. On the roadmap, you can also see the H200 model with the GH200 GPU, but this is not a successor to the H100 or some kind of improved version. This is the already-announced Grace Hopper SuperChip.
The current monster Nvidia H100 will turn into the next generation before last in two years.
The next generation, as we know, will be Blackwell. Accordingly, these are the GB200 GPU and the B100 accelerator. This decision is expected next year. What’s interesting is the release of the next new generation in 2025. Its codename is unknown, but on the roadmap, we see the GX200 GPU and the X100 accelerator.
Thus, in two years or even less, the current monster Nvidia H100 will become not the last generation, but the generation before last.
