Ed Gotovtsev’s commentary states: “The Day Before has a large open world that can be freely navigated both on foot and by car without any loading screens. The focus is on the big city and its surroundings, but players will also explore farms, vast meadows, small settlements, forests, and even snow-capped mountains. This is a hand-detailed world designed to convey the romance of the post-apocalypse, and in it, players can live their own story. “
Changing the weather is one of several aspects that make the game world realistic, ” continued Ed Gotovtsev. – Wake up in the morning and make a cup of coffee over the fire, and at night, if you’re lucky and it starts to snow, the wind will drown out the sounds, and you can safely get into any place, even the most dangerous.
