The developer of the psychological thriller Twelve Minutes doubted that the game will be released this year

DualShockers journalist Mehrdad Khayyat drew attention to the change in the release date of the psychological thriller Twelve Minutes on the game’s Steam page.

Recall that until recently the release of Twelve Minutes was expected before the end of this year, however, according to updated information on the Valve digital site, the premiere will have to wait until 2021.

Additionally, in a thread on the Steam forum about the release date of Twelve Minutes, the game’s developer, hiding under the alias Castor, made it clear that the project would indeed be delayed.

According to Castor, the development team has set for itself the date of the premiere of Twelve Minutes, however, is not yet convinced that the time to the required dates: “In view of the above it is unlikely that the game will be released in 2020”.

As for the future release date announcement Twelve Minutes, it is still the same Castor back in mid-September, he said: as long as the team will not be 200% sure of achieving a potential target, no announcements will not.

Recall that the main character of Twelve Minutes gets stuck in a time loop: every 12 minutes a detective breaks into the apartment and accuses the protagonist’s wife of murder. The player is required to break the vicious circle.

Twelve Minutes is being created for PC (Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. As part of the Gamescom 2020 opening ceremony, the developers unveiled the all-star cast of the project.
