The developers of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … showed an updated version of the introductory video NieR Gestalt
Less than a day later, Square Enix publishers and Toylogic development studio have presented another trailer for the upcoming updated version of the action RPG NieR Replicant.
The released three-minute video is a modernized intro video of NieR Gestalt (aka NieR) – the most popular edition of the original game outside Japan.
“Kaine’s iconic monologue returns triumphantly in the Gestalt version of the intro from NieR (2010), completely recreated for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … with re-recorded lines, music, and updated graphics,” reads the trailer’s description.
It is noteworthy that the NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … will have two initial videos – from NieR Gestalt and released only in the Land of the Rising Sun NieR Replicant – which will be included in the main menu one by one.
An updated version of the intro from NieR Replicant (attached below) was officially presented at the end of February this year. The original video can be evaluated at the link.
NieR Gestalt and NieR Replicant differed in the protagonist’s age (he was younger in Replicant) and the time interval within which the adventure events took place.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … will be released on April 23 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, and Xbox One. In a recent trailer, additional content was shown that awaits buyers of the updated version.
