The developers of Shadow Warrior 3 showed a new level and confirmed the release of the game on consoles
Publishing Devolver Digital and the development studio Flying Wild Hog through IGN have presented a new gameplay trailer for their eastern first-person action Shadow Warrior 3.
The unveiled two-minute Shadow Warrior 3 trailer serves two purposes. The first is a demo of the Doomsday Device-level that will appear in the final game.
In particular, the developers showed a new type of enemy – the obese Gassy Abortion. From his head during the trailer, the protagonist (literally) draws a double machine gun Double Trouble.
The second purpose of the video is to confirm the intentions of the authors of Shadow Warrior 3 to release the game not only on PC but also on consoles of the past generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Judging by the wording in the video and its description, Shadow Warrior 3 will appear on all three target platforms simultaneously. At this stage, the release of the project is expected before the end of this year.
Recall that Shadow Warrior 3 tells the story of the attempts of the protagonist – the disgraced corporate shogun Luo Wen – together with his former nemesis Orochi Zila to catch an ancient dragon, whom they themselves accidentally freed.
The developers promise dynamic battles, interactive arenas, witty dialogues, the ability to “prevent the end of the world again,” grappling hook, wall running, and finishing moves.
