The director of the new God of War hints that it is not called Ragnarok
In September last year, Sony published a short teaser for the new God of War game. The last frames of the video contained the phrase: “Ragnarok is coming.” After that, many Western publications decided that the project would receive the subtitle Ragnarok. Recently, however, the head of development for the new God of War, Cory Barlog (Cory Barlog), hinted that journalists are mistaken.
On Twitter, the PlayStation Universe portal posted news about PlayStation Worldwide Studios Director Hermen Hulst and his choice of the next GoW title as the anticipated game. When writing the material, reporters used the name God of War Ragnarok. The publication drew attention to Corey Barlog, who commented on it with one small phrase: “Why have I never heard of this game?”. Judging by the head’s hint, the upcoming project will have a different subtitle, but they are in no hurry to disclose it yet.
As a reminder, the next God of War is due out on PlayStation 5 in 2021. But its release on PS4 is still in question.
