The Division’s Avatar game postponed until 2022

Ubisoft has published a financial report, from which it became known that the video game for the Avatar franchise has been postponed to the 2022 fiscal year. Recall that it is being developed by Massive Entertainment, which created two parts of Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Ubisoft’s fiscal 2022 begins in April 2022. So the game won’t be released earlier than this month. It is noteworthy that the sequel to the film “Avatar” by James Cameron was also postponed – until December 2022. According to Ubisoft, this is one of the reasons for the delay in the release of the game.

Since its announcement in 2017, the game has barely been mentioned anywhere. The company then announced that it will be released on PC and consoles. It is known that the project may contain  network features and be called Avatar: Pandora Uprising , although this information may be out of date.

Ubisoft previously noted that Far Cry 6 and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine will be released later than planned due to the coronavirus. No new release dates have been announced, but it is known that the games will not go on sale until April next year.
