Following a recent leak, Huawei has officially confirmed that the launch event for the final version of HarmonyOS 2.0 will take place on June 2 this year.

Huawei also confirmed that the event will be dedicated not only to the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system, but also to the launch of new products that run under its control. The company is expected to publish a timeline for the release of HarmonyOS 2.0 for various devices.

Presumably, the event will feature the Huawei Watch 3 smartwatch, which will receive HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box, and the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 tablet with model number WGR-AN19, previously seen on the TENAA website and 3C in China. It is equipped with 12.2 and 12.6 inch screens with a frequency of 120 Hz and supports 40W fast charging.

Smart watches Huawei Watch 3 should receive a round screen, support for third-party applications and a built-in eSim card for mobile communications.

At the moment, users of Huawei Mate 40, Mate 30, P40, Mate X2, MatePad Pro, Nova 6, Nova 7, Nova 8 and other devices have the opportunity to try out the beta version of HarmonyOS 2.0.
