The first patch of Deadly Premonition 2 did not solve all the problems, but the developers are not going to stop

The head of development for Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise Hidetaka Suehiro in his microblog announced the release of the first patch for his detective adventure.

Recall that journalists criticized Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise for its poor performance and transgender portrayal, but the authors, led by Suehiro, promised to improve.

According to Suehiro, update 1.02 introduces changes to “that scene” with the transgender without any changes to the main script. In addition, the patch fixes some bugs and slightly improves performance.

Several members of the Reddit forum have already checked out the update and have begun to share details and impressions. The patch “weighs” about 287 MB and, among other things, also fixes the game icon in the library on the Nintendo Switch.

A user under the pseudonym ItsFromMars also reports that performance improvements are noticeable, but the situation is still far from ideal. Nevertheless, thanks to the patch, the hero became more responsive.

In his message to fans, Suehiro “thanked” everyone for their support and assistance in preparing the patch as soon as possible. The game designer also promised that the team will try to release the next update as soon as possible.

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise went on sale on July 10 this year for Nintendo Switch. It is assumed that after the hybrid console, the detective adventure will appear on other platforms.
