The first “post-sanctioned” Huawei smartphone with a Qualcomm processor will be Enjoy 20e based on Snapdragon 460

Qualcomm officially confirmed earlier this week that the US authorities had allowed it to supply chipsets for Huawei smartphones. True, the sanctions were lifted only on the supply of 4G processors; the export license does not apply to single-chip systems with 5G support. The first “post-sanctioned” Huawei smartphone based on the Qualcomm hardware platform will presumably be the Enjoy 20e model. The novelty will receive a Snapdragon 460 processor.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 is an entry-level smartphone SoC for around $ 150. It includes eight Kryo 240 cores operating at up to 1.8 GHz, and the Adreno 610 graphics accelerator with support for Vulkan 1.1 technology.

Other currently known characteristics of the Huawei Enjoy 20e include 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB internal flash drive, HD + display, 5000 mAh battery, 10 W charging and plastic case. The price of the version with 4 GB of RAM is around $ 183, the 6 GB modification is estimated at $ 213. The date of the announcement is unknown, but the smartphone is expected to be presented before the end of the year.
