Xiaomi presented its first car, which was called Xiaomi SU7. It will be manufactured under contract by Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. Ltd (BAIC), not Xiaomi. Previously, the electric car was known under the code name MS11.
Xiaomi SU7 is an electric sedan with dimensions of 4997 × 1963 × 1455 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm. Wheels can be 19 or 20 inches. Tire characteristics are 245/45 R19 and 245/40 R20, respectively. Xiaomi showed two versions: with and without lidar. The lidar is installed behind the windshield.
There is a camera on the side stand, and Xiaomi SU7 will be equipped with an unlock function using facial recognition. There will be two powertrain options: rear-wheel drive with a 300 hp engine. and all-wheel drive with a maximum power of 673 hp. The BYD battery pack is supplied for the cheaper option, and the CATL battery pack is supplied for the more expensive option. The curb weight is 1980 kg, and the top speed is limited to 210 km/h.

Electric motor model – TZ220XS000. It is manufactured by United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. The car will also be equipped with ETC, a system that allows drivers to automatically pay tolls on toll roads without stopping the car.
Serial production will start in December 2023, and deliveries will begin in February 2024. BAIC’s Beijing plant has already begun trial production, and dozens of test vehicles have rolled off the assembly line.
