At the Guangzhou Motor Show, the Denza D9 minivan premiered in its top version, the Premier Founding Edition. The peculiarity is that there are only two seats in the back – just like in the Lexus LM. This model can be easily identified from the outside by its two-tone color; the interior also has a combined color scheme.
At the auto show, the start of mass production of the Denza D9 Premier Founding Edition was announced, but commercial vehicles will appear only in the first quarter of 2024, so all the details have not yet been disclosed. But it is also clear that inside there will be a large display and especially comfortable seats in the back with ventilation, heating, massage and electrical adjustments.
The technology of the Denza D9 Premier Founding Edition is the same as that of regular versions of the minivan. That is, there will be a hybrid power plant based on a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a purely electric version. The basic hybrid is single-wheel drive, with a consumption of 5.9 l/100 km. The top-end hybrid is all-wheel drive, with a consumption of 6.7 l/100 km and a pure electric range of 180 km. The range of a pure electric car is 620 km.
