The other day there was information that Samsung is considering the possibility of using a Galaxy S21 line of sub- screen front camera .

Now we have the details. The front camera in the new flagships will be interesting not only for its location – it should also become better than current top-end devices.

Samsung is reportedly considering two options. The first is a 1/2-inch optical format sensor, presumably with a resolution of 48 megapixels. The second is a 1 / 2.55-inch format sensor, presumably with a resolution of 12 megapixels. Moreover, the source speaks of optical image stabilization.

For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 + use a 10-megapixel 1 / 3.2-inch sensor Sony IMX375, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra uses a 40-megapixel ISOCELL S5KGH1 1 / 2.65-inch format. That is, no matter which sensor the company chooses from the above, it will still be larger than the S20 Ultra, not to mention the younger flagships.
