Although it is still better than the now popular Helio G35

The Samsung Galaxy A24 4G smartphone has been certified in India and should be on the market soon. But there is one problem: the device is credited with a very old platform.

According to the available data, the Galaxy A24 4G will be based on the Exynos 7904 SoC. This decision is from 2019, and this choice is very strange, because Samsung used more modern SoCs in last year’s models in this segment. Including Galaxy A23 4G is based on Snapdragon 680.

At the same time, the Exynos 7904, although very old, is still better than a number of MediaTek platforms that are actively used in cheap smartphones. In particular, the Samsung SoC scores about 170,000 points in AnTuTu 9.

As for the rest of the parameters, the novelty is credited with a 6.4-inch 90-Hz AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, a 48-megapixel camera with optical stabilization and a 4000 mAh battery. But given the strange choice of platform for 2023, this may just be erroneous early data.
