Although the game is still demanding
The game Remnant II, which became famous for its monstrous resource consumption and at the same time excellent sales , has become a little less resource intensive. The developers, as promised, released a big patch that significantly improved performance.
There are no full tests of the new version, but the RTX 4090 at maximum settings and a resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels without DLSS 2 now shows 90 fps versus the previous 64 fps (specifically by the authors of CapFrameX), and when DLSS 2 is enabled, performance increases from 108 to 134 fps.
The GeForce RTX 4090 is no longer on its knees.
DLSS aside, it’s still an incredibly demanding project, and the game doesn’t even have ray tracing. For comparison, Cyberpunk 2077 with 4K tracing turned off on the RTX 4090 runs at around 70-80 fps.
It is possible that later the developers will be able to optimize the game even better.
