Intel Meteor Lake processors will be released towards the end of this year and, among other things, will receive a completely new iGPU, which should be much more powerful than the solutions used in Alder Lake and Raptor Lake. According to recent data, the top iGPU in Mateor Lake will be able to equal or even outperform the Radeon 780M.
Author Moore’s Law Is Dead indicates that iGPU performance in Meteor Lake will be in the range between the Radeon 780M and the new graphics core in Strix Point mobile processors . This iGPU is now credited with 1024 stream processors and RDNA 3+ architecture. Among discrete mobile graphics cards, the competitor for this solution will be the GeForce RTX 3050.
