Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, posted on his new page a message that was published from a yet unannounced phone.
Most recently, Lu Weibing switched to the latest Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the new message is believed to be from the Redmi K60 line of smartphones, which will include the Redmi K60E, K60 and K60 Pro models.
Lu Weibing previously said that “eSports phones are destined to die”, hinting that the K60 series may not have a corresponding version. In addition, a well-known insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station said that the entire line of Redmi K60 smartphones will receive 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory .
Presumably, Redmi K60E, K60 and K60 Pro will be built on the basis of single-chip systems MediaTek Dimensity 8200, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Usually, Xiaomi and Redmi management move to new phones and start publishing their teasers a week before the announcement.
