The head of the Xbox advised not to worry about the departure of people from the team Halo Infinite

Since the release of Halo Infinite was pushed back to 2021, several executives have left the development team. However, according to Xbox CEO Phil Spencer, the game is fine and fans shouldn’t worry.

Speaking to GameSpot, Phil Spencer said that he was not worried about staff leaving 343 Industries, and the postponement of the project’s release date after a failed July demo gave the public a different picture of what was really going on.

“I’m not worried about 343 [Industries],” said the executive director of Microsoft’s gaming division. ” I really think that in the long term, staff turnover is great because we need people who are truly motivated by what they are working on

He added that Microsoft took the feedback it received following the July demo of the game seriously, both in terms of release date and expectations. “On our side – on my side – it was an oversight to open our July presentation with Halo Infinite and reschedule the date in a couple of weeks,” Spencer commented. – I pay attention to the feelings and emotions of our fans and clients. We set an expectation that you would receive the game at launch and then had to change that expectation shortly after the launch — that was a mistake

Microsoft recently invited Bungie veteran Joseph Staten (Joseph Staten) to lead the development of the Halo Infinite campaign. He, along with Bonnie Ross and Pierre Hintze, is currently directing the creation of the sci-fi shooter. And Spencer believes in them.
