The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has made changes to the models of the “new model range”, making them more comfortable. This applies primarily to the Patriot SUV, as well as the Pickup and Pro, which are now equipped with specialized dampers for the transmission control levers, as reported by Quto.
The dampers, according to the plant, are aimed at reducing vibrations and increasing acoustic comfort in the cabin. And although initially they were installed only on cars with the Limited package, they are now built into all versions of the Patriot, Pickup and Pro. At the same time, the cost of cars remained the same.

In August, UAZ began producing Patriots with a modernized rear suspension. The main innovation is the appearance of a third leaf spring, which reduces sagging of the rear part of the body under load, reduces vibrations on uneven roads and has a beneficial effect on the stability and controllability of the car.
Work on restyling the UAZ Patriot has started at the new Sollers Product Development Center in Kazan. It is planned not only to seriously update the appearance of the SUV, but also to introduce a new transmission with a manual gearbox and a diesel engine, which will give the car additional dynamics.
