iPhone 14 Pro Max showed the same result a year ago
The authors of the PhoneBuff channel decided to pit the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Galaxy S23 Ultra against each other again, but this time to find out which smartphone is more autonomous.
As always, the tests were carried out using a robotic arm, although this is not particularly critical in such tests.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max barely managed to beat the Galaxy S23 Ultra in the battery life test.
Of course, such tests are highly dependent on the choice of applications and how long the load of one type or another lasts. But at least according to the authors’ method, it turned out that the iPhone was only slightly ahead of its competitor, and sometimes even lost during the testing process. In particular, the iPhone 15 Pro Max lost more power in standby mode. But in the end, it was Apple’s new product that emerged victorious.
The final result: 11 hours and 44 minutes of screen time for the iPhone and 11 hours and 6 minutes for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. What’s curious is that this is completely identical to the results of the confrontation between the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is even strange. But when the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Galaxy S23 Ultra competed, the undisputed leader was the Apple device, and its result was higher than that of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
