As Square Enix warned, the release of NieR Re [in] carnation for the Land of the Rising Sun will be delayed until the first half of 2021. Now the exact day of the premiere has become known – 18 February.

Simultaneously with the announcement of the release date, Square Enix opened a pre-registration page on the official NieR Re [in] carnation website – an option is already available on Google Play and the App Store.

To date, the number of applications for pre-registration has exceeded 400 thousand. For reaching 500 thousand, players will receive 3,000 crystals at the launch, and if they manage to exceed 1 million – a golden skin for the main character’s companion.

Among other things, Square Enix announced the NieR Re [in] carnation in-game event featuring characters from NieR: Automata as part of a new video on its YouTube channel.

The event will kick off on the same day with the launch of NieR Re [in] carnation in Japan and will take on the role of androids 2B, 9S and A2. The developers demonstrated the gameplay for them in the mentioned video.

Recall that NieR Re [in] carnation is a shareware adventure in the NieR universe. A western release is also in the plans, but Square Enix has not yet announced the exact release date.
