Sales will start in December, the price will be approximately half lower than analogs from Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover
An important event in the Chinese car market: serial production of the flagship crossover Huawei Aito M9 has started at the Series plant in Chongqing. Interestingly, Huawei itself did not say anything about this – reporters and local officials simply visited the factory. They got acquainted with the production and with the Aito M9 itself.
Apparently, the SUV is currently being produced in small batches, and full production will begin a little later – closer to the start of sales (that is, in December).
The “killer” Mercedes-Maybach GLS from Huawei began to be produced in China.
Almost immediately after the first images of the Aito M9 appeared on the Internet, Chinese journalists dubbed the car the Mercedes-Maybach GLS killer: and indeed, these models are similar conceptually, in terms of power parameters and dimensions. But in terms of equipment and finishing, the Aito M9 will even be able to surpass the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, Land Rover, and other SUVs with which it will compete. At the same time, the price for a model of this class is unusually low: the cost starts at 68.4 thousand dollars. For a model with a length of 5.3 m, a power of 496–530 hp, an autopilot, and truly luxury equipment, this is quite inexpensive.
