The Master Chief and Classic Halo Cards Are Officially Coming to Fortnite
Microsoft and Epic Games announced at The Game Awards that the Master Chief will be joining the hunt for Season 5 of Fortnite. The outfit is already available to players.
“Whether you’ve played the original Xbox, finished a battle on the Xbox 360, or faced the precursors on the Xbox One, there’s no hero closer to the Xbox family than the Master Chief,” the announcement says. “ Throughout the galaxy, you’ve fought against the Covenant, the Flood, and the Prometheans. But after the connection between realities has been established – zero point – you can again wear the armour of the Master Chief in Fortnite. “
The “Master Chief” set from the “Video Game Legends” series has appeared in the item store. It includes the Master Chief Outfit (Mjolnir Assault Armor), the UNSC Pelican Hang Glider, the Gravity Hammer Pickaxe, the Master Chief Trophy in the form of an Elite Holographic Skull, and the Baby Boar Emote with which to ride on a miniature version of the M12 combat vehicle.
In addition, you will be able to unlock the Master Chief’s Matte Black Outfit in Fortnite by playing a match on Xbox Series X and S after purchasing the Master Chief Bundle.
Finally, starting December 11 at 6:00 p.m. EDT, Fortnite Creative Mode features replicas of the classic Halo maps to play a Capture the Flag match.
Fortnite is available shareware on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
