Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla’s chief designer, was spotted driving a black Cybertruck in Santa Monica. According to Adam See (@AtomAntEater), the car was spotted at the Teslas & Coffee show in Santa Monica.

Apparently, in addition to the classic stainless steel version, Tesla will also offer the car to buyers in matte black.

The matte black Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted in public for the first time.

Tesla recently released a premium color film for the Model 3 and Model Y, priced between $7,500 and $8,000, so a similar option for the Cybertruck wouldn’t be a surprise—also because the Cybertruck’s stainless steel isn’t easy to paint.

According to rumors, the option will appear a few months after the launch, scheduled for November 30.
