Looks like there’s only one Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 based laptop
The Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 single-chip system for Chromebooks and Windows PCs was announced back in December 2021, the first laptop based on it (Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go) was introduced earlier this year, and now it is reported that all Chromebooks based on this platform have been canceled .
Information about this can be found in the chromium repository code. There is, of course, no reason given.
The most useless Qualcomm platform? Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 was introduced in 2021
Perhaps the platform just turned out to be unsuccessful, because after all, it was announced almost two years ago, that is, technically it is already far from modern products. And the fact that only one laptop model has ever been released based on the Snapdragon 7c + Gen 3 hints that not everything is so good with the platform.
Qualcomm has not yet announced a direct replacement for this platform, but the company is actively working on an SoC with Nuvia cores, which will be much more productive.
