Production starts next year
The domestic AvtoVAZ plant will add a panoramic glass roof and other innovations to the new Lada sedan, as a source in the company familiar with the development process told Avtobroker Club.
The source clarifies that we are talking about the Lada Iskra sedan, which is being created on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B-LS platform. Formally, the first Lada with a panoramic roof was the crossover Lada X-Cross 5, but if you find fault, it’s not Lada, but FAW Bestune T77 with Lada nameplates, which have not yet been replaced with original logos everywhere.

AvtoVAZ has previously confirmed that the Lada Iskra will be put into mass production at the end of 2024, with sales scheduled to start in early 2025. The car will be available in sedan, station wagon and station wagon body styles.
