The exhibition-forum “Russia” started on November 4
Rostec takes part in the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh. Participants and guests of the event can “assemble” their own aircraft, as well as become a pilot of the Mi-8 multi-purpose helicopter.
For this purpose, an immersive panoramic cinema with a 360-degree view was built. Viewers can follow the entire chain of creation of new types of equipment, from the engineering center, where the idea itself is born, to the production of the final product. The film shows the latest developments of Rostec, such as the MS-21 medium-range passenger aircraft, the PD-14 engine, the BAS-200 cargo-delivery drone, the Ansat light multi-purpose helicopter, and the Jupiter-30 unmanned mining dump truck.
You can also feel like the aircraft designers of the Il-114 and MS-21 airliners. The interactive game “Airplane Assembly” was created by specialists from the United Aircraft Corporation Rostec specifically for this forum. The game allows you to use the joystick to “assemble” the fuselage of the airliner: select the bow, middle and tail sections, as well as the aircraft wing and power plants. The screen displays a real workshop where promising IL-114 and MS-21 are assembled on stocks.

Guests can also see at the stands of various regions models of domestic aircraft SJ-100, MS-21 and Il-96, the fifth generation fighter Su-57 and the transport aircraft Il-76MD-90A.
At the stand of the Republic of Buryatia there is an improvised cockpit of the Mi-8/17 helicopter, which is produced by the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant of the Russian Helicopters holding company. Here everyone can sit at the helm of this legendary car, and the screens inside show bird’s-eye views of the taiga and Lake Baikal, which allows you to feel like a pilot.
