The main technical characteristics of the device were published by the manufacturer in the fall of last year. The camera uses a back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 25.73 megapixels (6192 x 4128 pixels). To increase the detail, the developers have abandoned the anti-aliasing filter. The sensor works in tandem with the PRIME V processor. The sensor-shift image stabilization system compensates for displacements in five degrees of freedom. The manufacturer estimates its effectiveness at 5.5 exposure steps.

The camera is equipped with the SAFOX 13 autofocus system, which has 101 focusing points, including 25 cross-shaped. A 307,000-pixel sensor is used to meter the exposure, operating in the visible and infrared ranges. Artificial intelligence technology has been applied in the real-time scene analysis system.

The photographer can use shutter speeds from 1/8000 to 30 s. The sync speed is 1/200 s. The sensitivity range is from ISO 100 to ISO 1,600,000.

Continuous shooting is possible at speeds up to 12 fps (with tracking focus – up to 11 fps). In video mode, 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolutions are available at 24 or 30 fps and Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) at 24, 30, and 60 fps.

The camera features a viewfinder that covers 100% of the frame and provides 1.05x magnification – perhaps the first time in such cameras. AF points, grid, electronic level, AF frame, spot metering frame, framing, smart, and control lock indicators are visible in the viewfinder.

The equipment of the device also includes a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD with a resolution of 1.62 million points, USB 3.2 Gen1 (USB Type-C), HDMI, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and Bluetooth 4.2 interfaces, as well as microphone and headphone jacks … SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards are used as removable media, for which there are two slots. One of them is UHS-II compatible. There is no built-in flash. Connection of an external flash and battery grip is provided.

The camera is powered by a D-LI90 battery, one charge of which lasts for 800 shots. With dimensions of 134.5 x 103.5 x 73.5 mm, it weighs 735 g. If you add a battery and a memory card, the weight increases to 820 g.
