The player found confirmation of the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC and other consoles, but this is most likely a mistake

Twitter user quesobros drew attention to a platform warning about Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales in a section of the PlayStation 5 home screen.

We are talking about the “Overview” tab, in which quesobros found a banner advertising temporary console exclusives for PlayStation 5. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was chosen as an example of one such game.

According to the PlayStation 5 Review, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be temporarily unavailable on consoles outside of the PlayStation family and will also appear on PC.

The reason for the decision to use a full-fledged PlayStation exclusive as a temporary ad is unknown, but the likelihood of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales appearing outside of Japanese consoles is extremely small.

Recall that in the second gameplay trailer, the remake of Demon’s Souls was called a temporary console PS5 exclusive, but in fact, the creation of Bluepoint Games is not going to go beyond the new console.

At the same time, Sony Interactive Entertainment plans to release its games to PC in the future. The pioneers of the initiative were Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn: the first was PS4-exclusive for a little over eight months, the second – over three years.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was released on November 12 this year on PS4 and PS5. The game supports a free upgrade to a version for the next-generation console and the transfer of saves from PS4.
