The prefix Xiaomi Mi TV Stick has appeared wherever possible. Why is Xiaomi not in a hurry with the announcement?
Previously, Xiaomi Mi TV Stick appeared in the databases of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as in the Google Play Console and in Geekbench. Now the device is seen on the website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where a sketch of the console was published. It completely matches the previously published images.
Xiaomi Mi TV Stick is equipped with HDMI and USB-C connectors, the first is used to connect directly to a TV or projector, and the second for power. The remote has separate buttons for launching Google Assistant, Netflix, and Amazon Video.
The younger version with support for 1080p resolution is built on the basis of the Amlogic S805Y single-chip system, the oldest 4K-received Amlogic S905Y2 SoC, 2 GB DDR4 RAM, 8 GB flash memory.
Xiaomi Mi TV Stick will compete with Amazon Fire TV and Google Sabrina.
