As promised, the trial edition will be available on Nintendo eShop before the end of January – today, the 8th. The official microblogging Monster Hunter reports that the demo is already available for download.

Judging by the comments under the post, not everything is going smoothly yet: for certain users, the Monster Hunter Rise “probe” does not load. In addition, in Russia, there are problems with the entrance to the Nintendo Switch digital store.

As with some other Nintendo releases, the Monster Hunter Rise demo will only be available for a limited time, until February 1 of this year.

The trial edition of Monster Hunter Rise will offer one location for the familiarization (we are talking about the ruins of the sanctuary), all 14 types of weapons to master and four quests to complete – on an assignment for beginners and experts, simple training and learning to ride a wyvern.

The first two missions can be launched in multiplayer (local and online) mode, and learning to ride a wyvern will allow you to get acquainted with the mechanics of the same name. A new trailer was also dedicated to her (attached above).

Monster Hunter Rise launches on March 26, 2021, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. The game justifies its subtitle by the dominant mechanics – players can climb on any surface, including vertical.
