So far, everything indicates that the sub-screen cameras in Huawei smartphones will be delayed until next year
Chinese manufacturer Huawei is due to introduce the Huawei Mate 40 line of smartphones in September-October this year. Earlier it was reported that the new smartphone will receive a sub-screen front camera, however, the latest news from China indicates that the technology has not yet been fully developed to be used in a commercial device.
The prototype of the Huawei Mate 40 lacks a sub-screen camera
At least in the engineering sample of the Huawei Mate 40, which the source saw, it uses a conventional camera. Of course, there is a chance that this is an early prototype and by the announcement of Huawei will refine the technology. In addition, the front camera hidden under the screen can appear in only one older model. However, so far, everything indicates that the sub-screen cameras in Huawei smartphones will be delayed until next year.
According to the latest rumors, the Huawei Mate 40 series will be equipped with screens with a frequency of 90 Hz. The fact is that Huawei is worried about the operating time without recharging, considering that 90 Hz is quite enough.
The new smartphone should be built on the basis of a 5-nanometer single-chip system, which may come out under the name Kirin 1000 or Kirin 1020.
It is also expected that along with smartphones will be released smartwatches Huawei Mate Watch, which will run on the operating system Harmony OS 2.0.
