The refresh rate of the screen of the smartphone Xiaomi Redmi K40 will be 120 Hz
The authoritative tech blog Digital Chat Station has published a new piece of information about one of the representatives of the Redmi K40 smartphone family, which Xiaomi will announce in the foreseeable future.
The series is expected to include the basic version of the Redmi K40 and the more powerful version of the Redmi K40 Pro. It is reported that a high-quality organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz will be used. The front-facing single camera will be located in a small hole in the area of this screen.
The Redmi K40 model, according to some sources, will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, according to others – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 775G chip, which has not yet been officially presented. In any case, the device will be able to work in 5G networks.
The novelty is credited with the presence of a multi-module camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor Sony IMX686, as well as a battery with support for fast 33-watt charging.
As for the Redmi K40 Pro smartphone, it may become the first device of the Redmi brand on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor. The presentation of this chip is expected in early December.
Network sources also disclose the release dates of new products. The start of sales of Redmi K40 will take place before the end of this year, and Redmi K40 Pro – in the first quarter of 2021.
