Smetana recalled that the world of Dying Light 2 is twice the area of ​​all maps of the original Dying Light combined – almost 7 square kilometers. However, this indicator does not reflect all the density and verticality of the sequel’s locations.

According to the developer, the city is divided into two main regions (the old city and the center with skyscrapers). They, in turn, have seven districts, which, at the suggestion of the user, can go to one or another faction.

Helping factions in Dying Light 2 is the first (lowest) decision level in the game. The second is quest dilemmas that affect the outcome of a quest or anything in the open world. Third, the choice in this category determines the course of the plot and the ending.

There are no traditional firearms in the world of Dying Light 2. Still, users will be allowed to craft a one-handed homemade shotgun – mighty but fragile due to its amateur nature.
