According to him, the Russian crypto-exchange must be national – “together with the bank, in which the maximum percentage of shares will belong to the state.”
In addition, Tkachev stressed that the national crypto exchange will make it easier for individual entrepreneurs to conclude contracts with friendly countries. So, citizens will be able to buy real estate or cars, which will affect the growth of purchasing power and help to develop empty square meters of housing, he said.
As for the recognition of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment, Tkachev said that there is no talk of this yet. He clarified that only the ruble can act as legal tender in the Russian Federation.
