The trailer for the new Call of Duty hinted that the PlayStation 5 will first appear in the US and Canada, and later in the rest of the world.

Last week, Treyarch and Raven Software, along with Activision, unveiled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. As a Twitter user under the pseudonym Riaan van Wyk noted, the trailer, which was accompanied by the announcement, contained curious information regarding the launch of the PlayStation 5. Judging by it, the new console will first be available in the US and Canada, and only then will be released in the rest of the world.

To his post, the user attached a screenshot from the video, which says the release date of Black Ops Cold War – November 13. And at the bottom of the picture, there are several notes. They say that the shooter will appear on PS4 at the specified time. On PS5 in Canada and the United States, it will be released during the 2020 holiday period, that is, in November or early December. However, the third note contains the most interesting data. It says that on the PlayStation 5 in the rest of the world, the release of Black Ops Cold War will take place “later in 2020”.

From the published information, the following conclusion suggests itself: PS5 will be available for purchase in the US and Canada a little earlier than in other countries. Otherwise, it makes no sense to indicate different release dates in the trailer for the new Call of Duty. It is also curious that at the moment Activision has removed notes from the official videos. Apparently, the publishing house revealed the truthful information prematurely.
