Snapdragon 865 confidently leads, and Dimensity 1000L crawls up to expensive competitors
The famous AnTuTu benchmark team launched a new rating on their website. It is currently only available in Chinese and is designed to show the true performance of the platforms used in Android smartphones.
The true performance of Android smartphone platforms in comparison. New AnTuTu Rating
The comparison takes into account the total CPU and GPU scores scored in the Antutu V8 benchmark. Qualcomm, Samsung, Huawei HiSilicon, and MediaTek single-chip systems participate in the ranking. It is displayed as a scale with a rocket on top and the closer to the SoC rocket, the more productive it is. The distance between the platforms reflects the difference in performance.
At the moment, Qualcomm’s current flagship platform, the Snapdragon 865, leads by a wide margin. Samsung Exynos 990 is noticeably lower in second place. The third is last year’s Snapdragon 855 Plus. Huawei Kirin 9905G managed to take only fourth place, ahead of Snapdragon 855 in fifth. Interestingly, the relatively inexpensive MediaTek Dimensity 1000L got pretty close to its more expensive competitors.
