The upcoming Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G are not far from mid-2000s

We recently reported that HMD Global is preparing a re-release of the legendary Nokia 6300 phone, and also plans to expand its range with a device with an 8000 index. Now the technical characteristics of these devices have become known.

Nokia 6300

Both phones will be based on single-core processors. The devices will run the KaiOS operating system. They will receive 512 MB of flash memory expandable with microSD cards. The phones will boast Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and GLONASS support.

The battery capacity of each of the devices will be 1500 mAh. Phones will receive two slots for SIM-cards. The main difference will be the displays. Nokia 6300 4G will get a 2.4-inch screen with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels, just like the original 2007 model. The Nokia 8000 4G has a 2.8-inch screen, but the resolution will be the same as the 6300. There is no information about the cameras, but they hardly deserve attention. Phone prices are still unknown. The Nokia 6300 4G will be available in charcoal, white and blue. The Nokia 8000 4G will be available in gold, black, white, and blue. The original Nokia 6300 was introduced in 2007 and was in high demand. The phone stood out favorably by the presence of metal body elements. There have never been devices with the 8000 index in the Nokia lineup. There are suggestions that the new device will become a continuation of the legendary Nokia 8xxx family of premium mobile phones, one of the brightest representatives of which is the iconic 8800.
