The Yakuza Remastered Collection and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life Coming to PC and Xbox One

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku announced the expansion of the target platforms for The Yakuza Remastered Collection and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life at The Game Awards 2020.

Recall that until recently, both projects were considered exclusive to PlayStation 4. In the coming months, the games mentioned above will appear on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) and Xbox One.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection will go on sale for new platforms on January 28, 2021, while the release of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life on the listed systems is expected on March 25.

In addition, Microsoft has confirmed that both The Yakuza Remastered Collection and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will be part of the Xbox Game Pass library of PC and console versions.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection is a set of re-releases of three parts of the series – Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5. The remasters can be purchased as a set or separately from each other.

PS4 version of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life was released in April 2018, and the components of The Yakuza Remastered Collection went on sale in turn: Yakuza 3 – August 20, 2019, Yakuza 4 – October 29, 2019, Yakuza 5 – 11 February 2020.

Previously, Yakuza 0Yakuza KiwamiYakuza Kiwami 2 and Yakuza: Like a Dragon lost their status as an exclusive on PlayStation consoles. The latter is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and will reach PS5 on March 2, 2021.
