Micro LED screen and non-invasive glucose meter will not appear in 2024
Next year, Apple will release the tenth generation of its smartwatches. There were rumors that the Apple Watch X (the name is speculative) will follow the path of the iPhone X and will be a completely new product. But insider and analyst at the investment company TF International Securities Ming-Chi Kuo argues that nothing of the kind should be expected.
There will be no major changes in the next generation of Apple Watch. The new model will not have a Micro LED screen, as Apple has such plans for a 2025 or 2026 model. There will most likely not be any significant innovations either.
There will be no repeat of the iPhone X revolution.
The oft-discussed technology for non-invasive blood sugar measurement will not appear next year or in 2025, according to analysts. The analyst does not talk about any changes in the design, but we have not yet heard such rumors.
However, there will still be something important. Kuo believes that the integration of Apple’s smartwatch with the Vision Pro headset can create an unprecedented and innovative health management experience that will further increase shipments of both products. But such an opportunity is unlikely to be exclusive to the new generation of watches.
