There will be no transfers: the extended edition of Disco Elysium “will definitely be released in March”

The head of the publishing department of ZA / UM Mikk Metsniit in the official Discord-channel of the role-playing detective Disco Elysium commented on the lack of news about the release of The Final Cut – an extended version of the game.

Recall that Disco Elysium’s release: The Final Cut on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, and Google Stadia is expected in March. The month has already begun, but the authors are in no hurry to clarify the timing of the premiere for some reason.

As Metsniit assured concerned, ZA / UM will not postpone the launch of Disco Elysium: The Final Cut. According to the head of the studio’s publishing department, the game “will definitely be released in March

“It takes time to sync and collaborate across all stores and platforms to ensure that each player has the same seamless experience we’ve created,” Metsniit explained.

The Final Cut will offer full audio (and here’s why ), gamepad-adapted controls, additional animations, improved hero portraits, new sounds, lighting effects, and four unique quests.

Following the release on the systems listed above, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will appear on Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles this summer. Owners of the original game will get the new edition for free.

At the end of January, the PC version of Disco Elysium received an update with a Russian text translation. It was previously reported that localization would be available on all possible target platforms.
