All prototypes are non-working
The first Apple smartwatch entered the market in 2014. We do not know how much the Cupertino giant was developing this device, but now it became clear that the company had prototypes very similar to the serial product a year before Apple Watch entered the market.
These are prototypes of the very first Apple Watch. They were released a year before the device entered the market.
These prototypes fell into the hands of the 27-year-old resident of Italy Giulio Zompetti (Giulio Zompetti), who said that he was going to fix them and sell them for thousands of dollars. Zompetti did not tell where exactly he got them from, noting only that he had received them from the e-waste recycling company. The Italian also noted that all the prototypes were broken, but the main components remained intact, so there was a chance to fix everything.
Zompetti himself specializes in rare prototypes of Apple, so I’m sure that the watch is real. Also, a logo reminiscent of the Death Star, QR codes and serial numbers of parts that are similar to those found previously in the prototypes of the iPhone hinted at this indirectly.
