But the format of the event is not yet clear.

Intel intends to unveil its first 10nm server processors on April 6th. This was announced by the company itself. The announcement will take place as part of the How Wonderful Gets Done 2021 event, but it is not yet clear whether it will be full or nominal.

These Intel processors will have to fight AMD’s 64-core monsters. The company will talk about the CPU Ice Lake-SP already on April 6

For now, we know that Ice Lake-SP Xeon processors will support DDR4-3200 memory, PCIe 4.0 interface, up to 6TB storage and Optane memory.

The question of the maximum number of cores is still open. At the end of last year, Intel formally introduced these CPUs, speaking only of a 32-core model, but later processors with 36 and even 40 cores appeared in the benchmarks.

Ice Lake-SP will compete with the recently introduced AMD Epyc CPU of the Milan generation, which has a maximum of 64 cores.
