Blackview has announced a new rugged smartphone Blackview BV6600, which, according to the manufacturer, needs to be charged only a couple of times a month.

The specific use conditions are not named, but Blackview assures that the smartphone can stand in standby mode for almost 800 hours (33 days). The battery capacity is 8580 mAh.
Blackview BV6600 meets the requirements of the American military standard MIL-STD-810G and IP69K protection degree. The device, protected by the needs of the IP68 class, can withstand immersion to a depth of 1.5 m for half an hour. According to the description of the protection class IP69K, the corresponding device can also work under high-temperature washing conditions under the influence of high water pressure. Simultaneously, it is resistant to scratches and impacts – the smartphone can withstand regular drops from a height of 1.5 m onto a hard surface.
The smartphone received a 5.7-inch screen, a MediaTek Helio A25 single-chip system, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of flash memory. Sony’s front camera has a resolution of 8MP, while the primary camera is 16MP.
