The device is already being certified by regulators in different countries, which indicates the imminent release of new items.
Xiaomi has quite a few smartwatches, but not a single model uses the WearOS platform. However, things could change soon: Xiaomi is reportedly already working on its first WearOS-powered smartwatch – and it’s even been approved by a number of regulators already.
This has never happened before with Xiaomi.
The promising device, designated by the index M2235W1, has already received EEC and TUV PLS certificates, and now it has also been noted in the database of the Korean NRRA regulator. There are no specific details, but it is reported that this smartwatch will support eSIM – the watch can be used for voice calls.
When the novelty will be released is not reported. But since the device is certified by various regulators, the premiere may take place quite soon.
