Meizu added that if you assess the reliability of personal data protection, the iPhone is both a competitor and a friend to Meizu 18. The source adds that this is the first time that an Android smartphone manufacturer has started selling iPhones in its own stores.

Earlier, Meizu launched a  promotion to swap iPhone smartphones for Meizu 18 at a surcharge. The manufacturer is offering buyers of the new Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro smartphones very attractive discounts if they hand over their smartphones to the Apple iPhone.

Prior to that, Meizu said that 45% of new owners of Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro are former users of Apple smartphones.
