Samsung Electronics has announced that its televisions are now being launched in eco-friendly packaging that can easily be turned into a cat house, magazine rack, or shelf.

Such packaging is provided for the TV series The Serif, The Frame and The Sero. Transforming a box into something useful is pretty easy. On both sides of the corrugated cardboard, there is a marking that allows you to accurately cut the cardboard. The packaging is marked with a QR code with reference to instructions.
The project was announced back in January and even won the CES 2020 Innovation Awards. And now it is launched.
By the way, in early April, Samsung launched, together with the British magazine Dezeen, an international competition of ideas for the reuse of cardboard packaging from televisions. Authors of the most unusual and practical examples will receive an award of $ 20 thousand. Samsung uses the best designs to pack its TVs.
